Ilane looks closely at April's handiwork. "Very good for your first time...but let me show you something..." She walks over and squats down next to April's right calf. "The suit models that they use for rental suits are pretty forgiving, but there's one thing that you *have* to remember." Ilane completely disengages the calf seal. "Don't assume that a seal in fully closed just because it's 'as far as it'd going to go'. You should turn them until they *snap* in place. If a seal stops turning without the snap, you should take it back apart and start again." She gently takes hold of April's hand and guides it towards the seal's housing. "Here, you can actually *feel* it snap in..." The belter's daughter re-engages the seal, turning it until it stops with a loud click. "See what I mean?" She smiles up at her cousin as she gets up. "Once you know what to expect, it's actually pretty easy!" Now, check your status panel at your wrist. If all of the bands are in the green, you're ready to go..." Provided that there's time before their arrival, Ilane will don her own suit. Otherwise, she'll maneuver the ship into docking position with the asteroid first. -- Bob K.
