Mamma Kent is summoned from the kitchens. As she approaches, Ilane gets 
her first look at her. She is a large woman with a round face and cheery 
eyes. Her brown hair, streaked with white, is pulled back into a bun. 
She walks briskly, wiping her hands on a towel as she approaches.

"Oh, yes!" she says smiling but when she extends her hand in greeting 
she has a sad expression, "I remember you. Poor, dear, Akus. It is still 
so strange to realize he will not be coming through that door shouting, 
'Beersi and a hot bath!' ever again."

She steps over to the counter and checks, "Yes, Room 24 is free, and 
yes, that was Akus' usual room. It is one of our small rooms, a 
*single*, just a bedroom and a fresher."

Adding with a smile, "Your Grandfather always said any more than that 
and he would get spoiled."

"Is this another one of Akus' kin?" she asks Shawn looking at Ilane.
