Before long everyone has left the ship, except Woof. He sets the alarms, 
locks the hatches and leaves himself. It won't take long to get up to 
the North Stadium where the game is going to be held, only about an 
hour, but he plans to grab a bite to eat before the game and still get 
there early enough to get a good seat.

Woof takes public transit, light rail from a station near the Starport, 
across the city to the suburbs north of the metropolitan area. On the 
way he reads a local paper he has picked up.

The football tournament is a major one. There will be professional and 
semi-pro teams here from more than 20 cities, and/or planets. The teams 
are divided into four groups with the top team in each of the brackets 
moving on to a medal round.

The Sequi Sea Dragons are in a tough bracket. They are matched up with 
two top Mark City teams, a well known team from Nafa lavia on the 
southern continent, and a semi-pro team from Serbia (a system 1 parsec 
coreward of here). The Sea Dragons have drawn the Serbian team, The 
Ponies is their nickname, for their first opponent, and the odds on this 
game is 52 to 48 with The Ponies the favorite.
