OOC: (a) was allowing you to express any drama into reading the note, if you so wanted, (b) after giving you a few days to reply was busy elsewhere and (c) didn't do much posting anywhere. ;-p Woof unfolds the note, holding it between his hands so only he can see what he is doing. When the barmaid returns with his drink and bowl of peanuts, Woof covers the note with his hand as he smiles and thanks her. Then positioning the beer mug and bowl to block the view from others he spreads the note out and looks at it. The note is handwritten in pen. Woof has seen Lessa's writing only a few times, but to his eye it looks like her's, and the signature at the bottom confirms his thought by being signed..."Lessa." Woof reads... Woof, I'm innocent. I didn't kill Jim or plant that bomb. I swear! I won't blame you if you just tear this note up, but don't know who else to turn to. I need your help. If you'll even consider helping me, meeting with me, go to midnight mass at the Church of the Holy Redeemer on Hawkins Street. Please, don't desert me, please! Lessa
