There are very few people in the church when Woof arrives and only a few
more arrive after he does.
Woof looks around. This is a large church, and old one. The central nave
is lighted and that is where the few worshipers who are here are
sitting. To both sides there are darkened sections. Up at the front of
the church a priest begins the service.
A few minutes after the mass has begun, Woof notices movement to his
left in the darkened aisle. The movement stops, then after a few
seconds, more Woof sees the shape of what appears to be a woman move out
from behind a column. He can't see clearly who it is, but it looks like
she beckons him with her hand before stepping back behind the column.
