Lessa makes fists of her hands lying on the table in front of her and grimaces before beginning, "It all started just after I called you this afternoon...I was so happy." She sighs, and shaking her head draws in a deep breath then continues, "Got to keep it together." "A call came in on my private line. A video line." she looks down, "I watched as they killed Jim. They just *shot* him...and told me that they had my daughter." "Rachel." she looks up into Woof's eyes and he sees pain in them, "They said they had Rachel, *showed* me that they had her. Told me I had to do what they told me or they'd kill her." "Woof, they would, too. There's no question in my mind that they'll kill her if I don't do as I was told." she says, her voice cracking, "They didn't say I'd get Rachel back if I followed their instructions, only that they wouldn't kill her.
