Jac steps aboard the /Mae Lee/ and walks to the crew's quarters area. He
is looking for the Captain.
He spies Ricardo moving down the corridor and calls out, "Captain!"
When Ricardo turns he sees Jac dressed in black evening clothes, with a
black top hat on his head and a ceremonial short sword sheathed at his
waist. Across Jac's white shirt front is a dark red sash holding several
small medals and ribbons. A light-weight black cape is draped over his
shoulders and held there by a short silver chain. He looks the very
image of a nobleman.
"I left Woof with his friend. They will transact the business and Woof
will return with what we need later." Jac says, "It went very well, I
think."
"For this evening, I've ordered two limousines and purchased the tickets
to the Charity Ball this evening."
Jac hands Ricardo two tickets, then glances at his wrist and adds, "Your
limo will arrive for you and your companion in about 40 minutes."
"Sianna Hasta-Rur and I shall be traveling in a separate limousine." Jac
says smiling.
"I hope you enjoy your evening Captain." Jac touches the brim of his hat
with a finger and retires back down the corridor toward Mira's cabin.
Mira hears a tap on her cabin door, followed by Jac's
voice, "Sianna? Mira? Are you ready?"
