By the time Mira looks back, she sees the two creatures...you'll need to come up with something to call them...are finished eating and are holding the cups with their hands up to their mouths and lapping at the water. They empty the cups and put them down and then start looking around. The orange makes a twittering sound. The brown replies with a clicking sound that ends in a whistle. Both are looking around, and make a whistling call that ends on a rising note, like it is a question. Then then stop and their ears twitch forward like they are listening, then they make the whistling call again louder. "I think they are talking to us." Jac says. "Or calling for their owner."
