Ricardo is jolted from a deep sleep by the buzzing of the intercom in his cabin. He feels like he has hardly gotten any sleep at all, and when he glances at his watch he discovers that it has been 3 hours since he lay down and fell immediately to sleep. When he flips the switch of the intercom and growls at it, Ukanav replies. "Sorry to wake you Captain, but the Port Captain, Morgan, just commed the ship asking to speak to you. I told him you were busy at the moment, but that you'd get back to him as soon as you could. He didn't insist on speaking to you that instant, just said he wasn't going to be available today to play 'tour guide'. Does that mean anything to you?" After a short pause, Ukanav continues, "I've been listening to local net traffic and there's some buzz on the local news about an 'attack' on some Hooter farm in the south and that 'off-worlders' were behind it. So, maybe Morgan hasn't connected it to *us*, but I thought you, being Captain, ought to know about it right away." "Oh, and Del has been in Engineering all this time running sims and such.
