In the evening of 286, after all of the passengers have gone to bed, the crew gathers in the common room up in crew country for a meeting. Woof has put out snacks and drinks, and arranged the chairs around a table so everyone can see each other as they talk and eat. Jac walks around the table handing out pieces of paper to each person. "I'll let the Captain call the meeting to order, but I want to give each of you this." Jac says, "The first sheet is a list of our cargo. The second is a map and as much detail about the systems coreward of us along the main as I could come up with. It is in the standard scout format, but Ricardo, Mira, or I can translate the codes for anyone that doesn't understand them."
