Send an email to akus-on@phoenyx.net from the address you want to subscribe to the list. I'll have to approve your joining, up to a 24 hour delay as I am really busy right now with the start of term, and then your first post (only) is moderated, so don't worry if it doesn't show up immediately...I'll get to it as soon as I can. If you want, you can go to http://phoenyx.net/akus/ and look around. The main page is the older game...not the one we'll be running. I'll get around to making changes eventually. :) The basic plot is that it is just after the 5th Frontier War in the Spinward Marches and a group of recently de-mobilized folks are kicking around on Glisten looking for work. It just so happens that Wonstar Trading Company has a ship (and a passenger) they need moved from Glisten to Wonstar (in the Five Sisters subsector), and they are hiring you lot to do it. Once you get the ship, and passenger (the eldest son of the Baron of Wonstar), to Wonstar you'll be paid off and can do as you wish. The Baron's son is going to need bodyguarding and/or babysitting, but getting him to Wonstar is an important part of the job. There is be a hint that if you succeed you might be able to hire on with the company, and even if you don't there are some opportunities out there on the ragged edge of charted space for enterprising adventurers. Remember, getting the ship to Wonstar gets you paid, getting the passenger there (alive, in one piece, and happy) might get you more than that! ;) Basic CT rules, books 1-8. No angst driven, dark, loner, serial killer, characters need apply. Quirks are okay, personality is good, but characters that work well with others and further the adventures are strongly preferred. Disappearing without notice is frowned upon, but if you need to take a break or are going to disappear for a bit, let me know in advance, and I'll lightly NPC your character trying to keep hime busy with maintenance work around the ship while others continue playing. So far I have characters from Greg Smith, JR Roberts, Bob Kondrk and Bruce Johnson. Earl Hampton and Derek Stanley have expressed interest and are "developing" characters. John, if you want in, you'll be the last one for now. Eris Akus
