She checks off the list as the confirmations come in.

That is a minor issue--she makes a note to coordinate with the new engineering staff to set aside a small corner for fresh veggies--probably a bit more than small, but she'd get there. She adds both seeds and starter plants--six months would be a long time, but food would be needed right off the bat.

To that she added both fresh and reconstituted vegetables and fruits--it was going to tie up more of her precious storage space, but on the other hand, it would be needed.

Goop went onto the list as well, sludge is as sludge does, and was a necessary evil-she was used to it anyway. She continued down her own list, adding more and more: spices, seasonings, odds and ends, things she knew Sasha liked, and sent out a PDA message to all onboard terminals to turn in their own preferences for meals; the brunette brushed a few strands of the blond highlights out of her eyes and initiated a websearch for Sir Percy and anything that might indicate the noble's preferences, and then began ordering higher-class Goop just for the man.

Goop indeed. That reminded her of something else: she went ahead and began highlighting the port's supply list for available wines and other liquors; various classes of beers by case were ordered-nothing cheap, but inexpensive to moderate expense were the orders of the day. Wines as well, champagne, port, bourbons...the list continued to grow.

Added to this were more supplies for her own desserts and speciality meals--it came naturally to her now-20 years earlier, she hadn't a clue: her first experience in stocking a starship for flight had been slightly better than an utter disaster.

Done, at least for the moment, she initiated a request for the port access badges to be renewed for 48 hours with a promise of departure within that time; she also flagged port security in regards to the crew roster and that material that was kept in the extra-legal area of the port for free transport, if requested by the individual crew-member. That went out as a PDA request to all onship terminals as well--Paris sat back and stretched, her back popping and her fingers running through her mane. "Egads...what time is it?"
