Des and Merinn spend the day refining fuel and testing and tweaking equipment in Engineering. They both are quite happy with the way the ship is shaking out. The only continuing problems are those three balky grav modules, but except for drawing a tad more power than they should they aren't a problem. Later in the day, Des is called away from Engineering by Bart who has been playing with the tutorials for the ship's turret weapons. She knows what she is doing, he doesn't, but maybe given time she could teach him... Once the cargo is loaded, Kirkor gets on the horn with Starport Control and gets a launch slot for early in the morning of 12/1111. Paris has been leading passengers around the ship all day. All morning and most of the afternoon it was low passengers, but as the afternoon wore on the high passengers began to arrive. Getting them into their staterooms and their luggage stowed in the cargo hold kept her too busy to get anything else accomplished. Good thing she prepared a light dinner for the passengers in advanced and stored it away. Most people only want a light meal on the day of lift...especially those with weak stomaches, and the crew can make do with instaheats tonight. In the future, Paris thinks she should get one of the other crew to help with the passenger duties...Des or Bart might be available. Lord Percy seems to have holded up in his stateroom all day, as he disappeared into the stateroom after he arrived at the ship and hasn't been seen since. Paris served him dinner in his stateroom last night and breakfast this morning. The man seemed subdued, even depressed, and still a bit less than completely sober each of the times Paris saw him.
