Merrin and Des go through standard shutdown procedures
back in Engineering. For the standard landing fee the
ship will be able to draw standby power from the local
grid as well as connect to the local network. This port
has some repair facilities and refined fuel available.
"Captain, we're ready to connect to external power on
your command." Merinn calls.
While Krikor is fielding Merrin's call, Sharda is fielding a
call from the Starport Terminal. A Lt. Sandoff is requesting a
courtesy call on the Captain for a port inspection.
"Rodger that, Merinn," he says. "I'll tell you when we're
ready here," he adds, and finishes getting the ship ready
to switch over. "Switching to external power, Sharda," he
says before continuing to Merinn with "switch it over,
Merinn".
Both see on the comm board that there are more calls waiting
for you, one from Killian and one from Robert Solasksi.
