"So lets take engineering first. From there you'll be able to lock and unlock vents right?"

"Once you are there, I can go get mouse and Percy and take the bridge. From the bridge we can lock all the staterooms. Then you can direct the search of the vents. Maybe we'll even get lucky and run across more crew as we go."

"Thoughts," he asks?

"You don't want to know," Merinn sighs. "Do you want to go via the vent, or the regular way to engineering?"

"The regular way. Going through the ducts might suprise the suckers but we'd only be able to bring one weapon into play," Bart responds.

Walking to the engineering hatch, he takes up position on the right side of the hatch and motion for her to stand to the left side. "I'll go first and break left you follow and go right. The idea is for you to delay until shots are fired, then go. Hopefully you'll be moving while they recover from recoil. Make sure and put a peeper on the right side before you pay attention to the left. Any time you move just say 'I'm up, they see me, I'm down' and before down leaves your mouth make sure your ass is covered. Any questions?"
