He states that Milakanur cannot afford an untried and unAwakened youth in the throne, and proclaims himself the heir-of-spirit to the throne of Milakanur. There is much consternation, and the civil war that ended almost a hundred years ago is frequently discussed in the marketplaces and in private homes. Sharifu is not crowned Per-Aa this year. Tradition seems to indicate that the Master Necrologist must resolve their claims, since resolving these disputes falls to the Necrologists.
