Celandra is a game in which the players take the roles of societies, rather than playing individual characters. The players will invent a society with its culture and heritage, and will guide its development and interaction with the world. Emphasis will be be placed on developing a detailed history of Celandra, along with myths and legends.

A great idea. But I see one problem, the human and alien situations will be
sufficiently different that a presentation for the first might not work for the
second. Solutions include splitting the two at a high level, as we're doing in
play, and coming up with something exceedingly sweeping.

Or something that has opinions on a lot of things. Material could be presented
as a flowing from or a reaction to that something. Marxist ideology is a recent
example of such an opinionated critter. Personally, I'd like to see an art
movement.

As mentioned above. For the Humans, a Museum of Home, part of the reclamation
for Home tries to have information about all humanity. More specifically, the
Arts College at such a place would have that information as a way of explaining
the things present in each cultures way of viewing the world. Presenting their
cultures in part through their arts would strengthen the impact of the
Humanities determiant and provide a vehicle for the flow of attitudes and ideas
between societies.

As a solution to the Human / Alien divide and to secret activities, this place
could exist in the future after alien contact.
