Celandra is a game in which the players take the roles of societies, rather than playing individual characters. The players will invent a society with its culture and heritage, and will guide its development and interaction with the world. Emphasis will be be placed on developing a detailed history of Celandra, along with myths and legends.

And I would be reluctant to kill the Duchess, because her original player
might still be coming back. It's unlikely, but to kill the Duchess just as
a plot device seems rather harsh.

Definetly. But accepting a former barbarian (& very recent
bitter enemy) as a Regent... well, that does not fit well
with by perception of the 11 cities.

Yep. But the way things are progressing, you can have that
anyway in a few years. Then again, maybe not.

Not necessarily. The Black Well Water would be a great tragedy,
but still largely confined. It would certainly create much potential
for the QoN.

At the moment I'm biased toward the BWW. But that just me falling
in love with my own idea. And you'd still have to choose which city
it hits: Myraen, Merelbar, Manund, Falmyth, Emberath, Lantohar and
Blackburg are the choices. Each has it's own set of interesting
implications :) I'd say, let the dice decide.
