[Qai] Torian archieves

In the Torian achieves in the City of Jiryra, a document describing the
meeting between the Tora and the Mir (approx BE120).

* * * *

"...Our brothers have watch for many years now in growing fear as the Mir
have grown in strength, and their swelling lands approach our own. But this
fear is matched by a respect although these strange Sorcerers do not speak
to Jiryal, they have summoned giant flying birds that resemble him and that
breath flame in a manner similar, but the similarities end these are beasts
used in destruction and not true birds..."

"...Everything about the Mir seems to be tainted with destruction and they
know nothing of Jiryal and the methods of watching the world and telling him
of the events. All their magic seems to grow from scratching at reality,
tearing it up and throwing the pieces back together. Their only desire
appears to be the acquisition of power and shaping the world to their
twisted ideals..."

 "...As such the Mir can not and must not discover our existence our priests
have been studying hard and they believe they can find a way to lower the
ability of others to perceive what is around them. They fear that this
misuse of magic goes against the very idea of watching the world for Jiryal
but we can see no other way, if the Mir find us we are doomed."

* * * *

"The Mir will surely notice our existence soon, with our own eyes we have
seen what they call dragons, the flying beasts that breath flame. They have
flown overhead nearly right over our cities, if the our priests do not
finish their work soon the Mir will find us."

* * * *

"Although the priests have finished, and polished the reversal of our
perception magic allowing it to be used to hinder perception as well as
helping it, they fear that using it to hinder others perception is a task
that is completely unholy and should not be attempted. The High Council
have told us that we should not try to hide from the Mir but to meet and
great them if they should find us."

* * * *

"Our eyes and thoughts turn to the City of Torizzra, for the Mir have found
the city and their dragons have landed there. We watch now as they approach
the members of the Local Council who have come to great and discuss with
them. We watch as the council tell the Mir how we have watched them and
told Jiryal of their exploits. We watch as the Mir look at Jiryal's temples
with contempt, shrug off our magic as basic and tell our council that they
will be treated fairly if they surrender completely to the Archmage and the
Mir Empire. We watch as the local priests shout out at as the Mir
disrespect Jiryal. We watch as the guards move against the Mir. We watch
as the Mir take to their dragons. We watch as Torizzra is destroyed."

* * * *

"The High council were in no doubt after what they had seen happen at
Torizzra. There can be no talking to the Mir our only option is to hide
from them. The High council ordered the priests to use our magic to change
the perceptions of any Mir that came near. They also ordered that those who
carried out the atrocities at Torizzra should be picked out and our new
perception magic used to slowly drive them insane, for no punishment was
enough for the way that they had dishonoured and insulted Jiryal..."
