Celandra is a game in which the players take the roles of societies, rather than playing individual characters. The players will invent a society with its culture and heritage, and will guide its development and interaction with the world. Emphasis will be be placed on developing a detailed history of Celandra, along with myths and legends.

| Well, there's not been a single mail from Horganus since
| March 26th (upto which everything seemed to go fine), so
| I think it is safe to that: yes, we do need a GM.
|

Agreed. Horganus seems to have vanished.

| Keaton, as the second GM, you have the final say on this,
| but I don't see any obstacles to this.
|

No problem. Part of the reason we keep me around as a second GM is so the
main can play if he wants too.

| Yep.

| Hmmm... I'm not quite sure what you mean. The list is for
| members only, but people outside the list can read it
| through the web interface (at www.phoenyx.net). Filtering
| the web interface selectively for each member is not
| possible (with current administrative tools). Closing
| the web interface would also require special arrangements
| (and would be an inconvenience...).

|
| Well, that's fine by me. So far, there haven't been a
| single conversation on Real-World(!) politics on this list (IIRC),
| so I wouldn't expect(/welcome) such conversation in the future,
| either.

The only political discussions we have had fall into two categories: either
historical examples to explain society actions (which is only marginally
political) and things such as the general outpouring of support following
the tragic events of 9/11 and the occasional passing mention of well-wishes
for Allied troops in the field (again, only marginally political, really
more simple expressions of humanity).
