This is one of those rule changes I talked about To encourage descriptive writing and prose, I'll take the fudge points into use: for every piece of prose/ society descriptions you email to the list, I grant 0-3 fudge points. These can be used to effect dice rolls: for 1 fudge point, you can preset one dice to not be -1 (ie. be 0 or +1), for 2 fudge points, you can preset one dice to be +1, etc. So to ensure a roll of +4 for *one* freely chosen action, you must gather and spend 8 fudge points. Everyone starts with 0 fudge points. A decent write-up will earn you 1 point. A great write-up will earn you 2 points. 3 points is reserved for the truly magnificient. A weak piece (or a decent piece with lousy grammar) will get you thanks with 0 points and a suggestion to develop it a bit further. Each month, I'll present a common theme on which people are invited to write on. The first theme is: "From 1418 to present: what happened after the Sinari war". (This is for my benefit, as well as for anybody else who reads Keaton's book, and wants to take a look at what happened then.) Concentrate on your own society. juuso ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send mail to celandra-off@phoenyx.net.
