Celandra is a game in which the players take the roles of societies, rather than playing individual characters. The players will invent a society with its culture and heritage, and will guide its development and interaction with the world. Emphasis will be be placed on developing a detailed history of Celandra, along with myths and legends.

[Cel] [Admit]Ages of the Charaters in Qaiyore

Hello.

I have been doing a little of work on Mirs Kings and
Archmages and did a little calculating. It has been
30 years as of 1442 since Eubratosa assended the
throne of Mir. For a Sorcerer, especially a Archmage
that is not that long of a time, since they live a
couple of centuries, but for other humans 30 years is
a significant amont of time. I noticed that the King
of Talishara died. I think we need to sit down and
figure out charaters ages so that we can relize when
about would be a good time for them to "natural" step
out of the picture. I a good chunck of the rulers of
nations at the time I start playing were not in there
straping twenties most would have been in there
forties from my guess that would know make them
seventy.

I would suggest that we figure out for player
societies first and then progressively go throught the
NPS for the major people we should think about. This
is not to say that we should start whiping out
charaters. Just that we might want to figure out some
ages so that we don't have people suddenly looking
back on old actions and see the very same people
mentioned 40 years ago and they were not teenagers
then.

I know that this could be a little work so i would be
willing to help with the NPS since I suggested it and
also since I know a lot about most societies having
worked with the players of countires that were
previously played.

Thanks
Jason Heaps
