What scholarly investigation that has occurred of the multitude of ruins have been unable to decipher the unknown script and language of the ancients. Similiarities between the physiology of the ancients depicted in the iconography found in the ruins, and the remnant aborigines suggests some link, though the exact connection is unknown.
