To Lord Basiluddin, General Commanding, Kaeiran Forces in Saltrim, Greetings, We congratulate you on the success of your march to Saltrim through the chaos which is present-day Taltheran. However, we are somewhat concerned by the fact that this action was apparently undertaken without the approval of your government. Nevertheless, we feel that it is, all in all, a good thing, that you and your forces have moved to Saltrim's aid. We are willing to aid you and your forces, and the Saltrim Conclave, as best we can. However, our attempts to send aid overland have been stymied by the interference of the Merchants' Guild in Pran, who have been intercepting our humanitarian aid caravans and stealing the good therein. Because of this, we suggest that perhaps the forces of our two nations, working together, can open up an overland supply route between Saltrim and Cedonian Tirmar, and prevent the Merchants' Guild from interfering. Possibly, at a later date, more direct action may need to be taken against the Guild, but for the moment, we wish only to be able to freely trade between Zayura and Saltrim. Such trade would also provide better supply and support for your own troops. We await your reply.
