To address all of Jeff's comments below: the reason I put the names in square brackets was to indicate the areas these muses cover. They are not in any way intended to be exact translations of the names of the Muses. I chose [Science] as a descriptor because it's a more compact word than [Natural Philosophy], which I admit is probably a better description. Art is high art: sculpture other than architectural, painting, tapestry, art pottery, wood carving, etc. Architecture is what it sounds like. I chose Winemaking rather than brewing because Sedonians drink wine rather than beer; in Selaria, the Muse in question is the patron of fermented mare's milk makers. In countries where beer is popular, she's [Brewing] instead. Music and Poetry would be cross-cultural, and not general deities of sound and speech. Music is a lot more than just sound, and Poetry is more than just speech.
