The Archives on the Celandra page, and the record of actions for each turn (http://www.phoenyx.net/cgi-bin/twiki/bin/view/Celandra/QaiyoreHistory) will give you an idea of what it is like. Currently a number of societies are active - Kaeir, Sedonia, Mir, the Exquaestio (a religious group of sorts), plus a couple more semi-active societies.
