[Cel] [Sidebar] Exquaestio & The Magus Rudimentum

(Sorry School last semester took up most of my extra time. If you would like to contiune then here is the next section.)

As Mira thinks about the area around her she knows that the terrian is open, and surronded by farms, that had recently been planted. The village was fine in regards to food the winters on Celamyr were short and mild.

Along the coast was a series of low hills. The nearst garrison is in the town of Valapur along the sourthern border. Valapur held a garrison large enought to easly deal with the invaders, but the town was about thirty miles away. Which for the hardy people of Mira's village would not be a problem, but between the two lay the Odu river and flanking each side of the river was the Odu'iosperrer. The Odu'iosperrer was a large swamp, five to ten miles wide depending on were you enter and is the largest and most dangerous swamp on the isle of Celamyr.

Their is one village between Mira's and Valapur. Located on the south edge of the Odu'iosperrer it was about the same size as Mira's village, and the Sorcerer/Priest their was ancient and talented.

Mira stood looking around the village as the sun made its stately pace to make an appearance in the morning sky. The queit village was becoming noises as Mira's son and husband just walked into their friends home to wake them.

Mira watched as the villages came began to gather. These people were simple people who had little in the way of material wealth. Most of them had never seen a stone building or large ships. They knew nothing of war with humans, but were experts when it came to survival.

As the people gathered Mira saw a boy of about ten come walking up the path carring the fish cages. When he saw the people gathering he put down the cages and began to run. The was the young man Nerros.
