I believe the region was integrated into Aixelsydan in a military governorate, and established fortresses. I seem to recall that the annexation was very successful, and the Aixelsydanese grip on the southern shore very good. The limit was the mountains, where they built something they called the Earthen Veil (or was it the Timber Veil - there is one Veil in northern Aixelsydan, another newer one (1420s) in northern Rhudyn).
