Many thanks for all the comments on this issue, especially
thanks for Jefferson, Ibrahim and Keaton for volunteering. After
much consideration, I'd still like to propose that Jason
will take the role of GM, and I will act as the secondary
GM, resolving Mir actions (and acting as backup for Jason).
My reasons are:
- Jason has long experience in GM:ing this kind of game, and
especially this particular game
- for this reason, he also has intimate knowledge of the world
and the game history
- whatever knowledge he doesn't have (due to the year-long
absence), I have
- this way, we can smoothly transfer any plot-devices and
loose ends to the next GM
and, for whatever that is worth, Jason already volunteered for this
in June, so he was the first in the queue.
Now, I may be the GM around here (for awhile yet), but I'm
no dictator (unless I need to be one). So if you have any issues
with this one, speak up (privately or publicly).
