I am thinking about having a FUDGE campaign where the players are powerful wizards; you know, the kind the GMs like to throw at their upper-class PC parties. The kind to whom incapacitating a normal human being requires a mere flick of a wrist. Understandably, this kind of campaign tends towards light rules and heavy storytelling, since blowing normal brigands to pieces would lose its appeal quickly, while "There's always a tougher bad guy" -style campaigns would soon grow boring and even ridicilous. I'm thinking of having lots of intrigue, scheming and back-stabbing, sort of like in Ars Magica, I guess, but I haven't played it. The point of this post is this: I am going to make a light version FUDGE rules for this campaign and then quickly afterwards the magic rules. Now, the magic rules will probably be a bit like Cravens' (I think it was Cravens') Gramarye rules. If he wanted to check those rules before giving me the permission to spread them around, he's welcome. If he approves, both the light rules and the magic rules will be available to anyone on this list by private request and will be sent to you personally. Finally, I have been off-list for years now, but some may still remember my diceless role-playing posts or my Body Magic -martial arts rules. If some of the people who received the rules have tried them, comments and thanks would be appreciated now. Sorry for the lenght of this post. -- Kimmo Kyttä cryosphere@iobox.fi If someone knocks a psychopath unconscious, has the poor guy just been knocked nonsenseless? ---- Soittoäänet ja ikonit matkapuhelimeen! http://www.iobox.fi/ -- ----------------------------------------------- The Fudge List FAQ is at http://fudge.phoenyx.net/ Subtopics: +df, +convert, +magic, +supers, +biz
