This goes back to a discussion several months ago about mood music. Last
week I tried to use it with my chuthlu-punk game. It went ok. The main
problem I found is remembering to play the music. This is compounded by the
fact I played at a friends house who only had a little boom box, so I had to
remember to switch CDs.
I'm guessing that it would be easier to use mood music with a 5 or more disk
changer and a remote. Is there anyone out there who does this with a
multi-disc changer?
Also, I was going through my CD collection, looking for some good music when
I came across a CD by Joan La Barbara, a vocal sound artist. It's hard to
describe other than saying it is her breathing, panting, making noises
(sometimes words) using layered tracks to create an interesting rhythm.
The name of the CD is "Sound Paintings". If you're interested in hearing a
sample, I would be glad to send you something. It's something you've got to
hear because my description doesn't do it justice.
