The wife is part of the gaming group, and the grandmother lives 30+ miles away and all that. Not to mention the toddler was feeling sick, so of course she'd stay home. Has anyone noticed that when a toddler/baby starts getting sleepy (and resisting it) everyone else around the little br... um, dear child starts nodding off as well while the kid gets hyper? I think that they actually manage to leach off the energy of their parents. (Which, if you think of it, might be why parents go grey faster than other adults... they lose their life energy first and go old quicker!)
