Well, the kidnapping scene is working out fairly well. I have one person who (through psychometry) has found the area where the kidnapper is. Only problem is: the person doesn't have any weapons on her! She's an ex-Soviet spy (faked her death) who is trying to keep a low profile, but can't just let this kidnapping happen - she's got a conscience after all! :) Things got a bit hairy when she tracked the kidnapper to a railyard (some unused tracks in Denver) and found his hideyhole... and then he noticed her hideyhole... but she was able to successfully hide. Unfortunately, trying to distract him by shining her mirror on the wall behind him didn't work... instead, he saw the flash of the mirror himself! I was nice, however, and decided to have scrap metal out there - he found a piece near her and decided he just saw a stray reflection. The player is rather enjoying herself as she's got to think her way through this one! I do think that if she does take on the kidnapper and take him out, she will probably get to keep the shotgun (assuming she doesn't turn it in to the police)... give her some sort of reward (besides feeling good). :) And I think the kid will be saved without worrying about time running out and death occurring. :) As for the others... only a Garou cop has taken an active interest in this situation, but his attempt to use Rite of the Questing Stone didn't work.
