if any of you are into computer games... Homeworld: Cataclysm is out. It's a combination Scifi/Horror story, and a 3-dimensional real-time stragety. You'd need a 3-D card and 300 MHz machine minimum to run it. But it's pretty. (smile) It continues the story from Homeworld, about a group of people who have found their homeworld after having been exiled from it for 3,000 years. The story follows the exploits of one tribe of the exiles, the Somtaaw. Early in the story they stumble across a derelict object, which ends up "infecting" the lower part of their ship, creating the "Beast", a techno-organic creature that can "infect" other ships. Sort of a combination of the Blob and the Borg. (grin) It's interesting in that unlike many other computer games, it's got a storyline and works around the story, instead of just being an excuse to blow things up. (smile) And the background stories for both Homeworld and Cataclysm... I fell in love with Homeworld because of the background story. Cataclysm continues in the tradition. ---------------------------------------------------------------- GMAST Home Page: http://www.phoenyx.net/gmast/
