It comes from the Pyramid Discussion Forums (I think).  When a post is
made that causes someone to laugh, the person has the option of
awarding a "Made  Laugh Point".  Some poeple keep
track of them in their .sigs.

As to whether not this is good or bad, that part is up to you.
