Anybody get any gamer stuff for Christmas? Closest we got was _Ship_ by... uh... that guy that does those nifty books. Macauley? Anyway. History and cross-sections and things, I think; I haven't actually had a chance to look at it. We got some indirect gamer stuff... a costuming book, which will come in handy if the next Phoenyx Gathering involves garb. And a bunch of MySQL/Perl/CGI reference stuff, which will hopefully help in programming the Phoenyx. Our gaming group got sort of cancelled through the holidays, which is kind of a good thing since I've only made one of the dice bags I was making for Christmas gifts. (Merlot moleskin; a nice velvety texture that isn't a pet hair magnet like velvet[een] is.) That's about the only gamer stuff I *gave* for Christmas (unless one counts Willow on DVD, I suppose). -- Karen J.
