I just picked up the new Dragonlance book this week 9great
book, by the way) and it occurred to me that I don't understand why they
have Kender as a player-character race. Nobody would play a kinder -
nobody who wanted to live, that is?
I mean, Kender have always been #1 on my list of "race you
choose if you want to be killed by the rest of your party - not your
character - YOU." I know that there is an important Kender hero in the
Dragonlance canon, but kinder strike me as a race all the other races in
Krynn would gang up on. No matter what their alignment, and exterminate
on site. They're that annoying.
Then again, I also took a great deal of flak on one of the
message boards I frequent (I frequent too many message boards) by
suggesting a system conversion for Dargonlance. Apparently some people
really believe that the setting is so heavily tied in to standard D&D
that doing anything else with it is sacrelige.
What is the RPG race that you would want to obliterate from
the face of gaming?
