I got invited to Orkut a little while ago, and signed up for the heck of it. Aside from the invitee, I found almost no one there that I knew, so I invited a coupla people. But then it occurred to me that it might be a bit silly... *I* already know these people, what do I need Orkut for? Maybe it's that Orkut is even geekier than I am, and one of the other services would work better. Or maybe it'd be more interesting if I was looking for a date. Or maybe it's just another sort of web forum, and I've already got enough of those. Am I missing something? Should the Phoenyx be jumping on this bandwagon with a gamer-specific version? -- Karen J.
