Yep, he says he was specifically attempting to simulate the way locks get shot off in the movies, and that shooting down into the casing somehow (however he puts it on the page) would be more effective with pretty much anything. But that wouldn't have let him take amusing shots of finding pieces of the lock out in the yard there, so where's the fun in that? -- Karen J.
