I don't know that they've come up with anything more useful than we
did, so far. Other than I guess an interesting insight: that in D&D,
the GM gets to advance along with the players by being able to bring in
bigger, cooler monsters to go with their higher-level characters. Not
sure how useful that is outside the "kill, take stuff, get better at
killing" loop, though.
