Ryzar and Jaldaric are closest to the enraged beast. Jal's heroic leap lands him squarely on the beast's back. This is enough to distract the beast from trying to run down Reylorna, and she has just enough time to get out of it's way while it concentrates on trying to throw Jaldadic off. Ryzar steps between it and Reylorna, and slashes at the beast's neck. But the enrages animal somehow manages to dodge the blow. Duplar wastes another charge by missing the his target completely. He realises that the risk of hitting either Jaldaric or Ryzar is too great to attempt another shot. But neither Jal not Ryzar manage to harm the beast; Jaldaric finds it next to impossible to stab the beast's neck while it's trying to throw him off, and Ryzar finds that it keeps dodging it's blows. Jorg and Dharak are now within range. Dharak is immediately aware that it's being controlled.
