This time Jorg and Ryzar both have greater success, and both succeed
in injuring the beast.  Jaldaric is not quite so lucky; his doesn't
manage to get near it's eyes, and is instead thrown off when the beast
rears up in pain from the two sword wounds it's suffered.  He lands
heavily, and painfully.

Jorg narrowly avoids the beast's forward lunge.  

Dharak and Duplar join Reylorna in the mental side of the battle.  The
three of them are all aware of the mental presence of the alien
creature now; the bull-ulsoghir is nothing but it's unwilling puppet.

The dumb animal is trivially easy to send into bovine slumber; the
great creature closes it's eyes and keels over.

Without his inhumanly-fast reflexes, Jaldaric would have been crushed
under it's weight.

But the animal was never the real enemy.  A crushing mental attack
comes straight at Reylorna; her mind-shield holds...just.
