[Reylorna and whoever else follows]

It's now dark, the area lit only the moon, and by the flickering
flames of the monster's funeral pyre.

The castle is completely unlit, much as might be expected when
nobody's left alive.

"What parts of the castle have you searched, Reylorna", asks Verthes.
"Did you just investigate the tower, or did you search any of the
cellars and outbuildings?  My guess is that's where any survivors
might be hiding.  That was where we...  we...."

His voice trails off.
