The book is a bit of a disappointment; it seems to be more about
architecture, and Reylorna is unable to find any references to
'mirrors'.  There's much about towers, spires and domes.  She notices
one line

"And one could travel from city to city but a few watches, on a road
sometimes high above the land, sometimes tunnelling beneath the
mountains.  All that remains today are the lines of ancient towers".
