A few guidelines on the way I'd like game postings formatted.


(1)  Please include the name of your character somewhere in the post,
either in square brackets at the top of the post, like this:

[Nigel]

or as part of the actual post, like this:

Nigel ducks out of sight, hoping to avoid the City Guardsman.


(2) IC speech should be enclosed in quotes, while actions should not
be enclosed in anything.


(3) * OOC (out of character) text should be enclosed in square
brackets [Like this]


(4) Within the limitations of your mailer, please keep quoting of
earlier posts down to the minimum needed to place your post in
context.  Any quoted text should be _before_ your own posting, and
preceded by '>' -  see the KLR:58 post as an example.  *always* leave
a blank line after the quoted text.

(I appreciate that some people's mailers don't make it easy to do
this, hence the 'within limitations of your mailer')


(5) Posts should be replies to a previous post.  Don't forward or
change the subject line
