Rotemdol arrives at his Anthill residence to find a familiar figure
already present inside.  It's not clear quite how he managed to get
in.

"I believe the deed is done", he says.  "And I have with me the
payment, as agreed. Now we must weather the storms of the coming days.
They will wish to avenge the death of Tanala.  If Kluranyr had died,
it would be even worse.  My informants tell me he lives; your crossbow
bolt missed his heart by an inch".


[Apologies for the very long gap - I was trying to keep Rotemdol's
thread in synch with the other thread, and move the on to the next day
at the same time.  Unfortunately the other thread is moving a lot
slower than I'd planned]
