"Winter's fallen early on the hills surrounding Tents, the shanty town
that sprung up around the Verholm Mine.  The cold's forced the Mountain
Goblin tribes down into the valley, but something's stalking the snowy
slopes, preventing the raiders from reaching the town or escaping to warn
their kin.
  As supplies run low, it soon becomes clear that no simple beast roams
the hills.  What is protecting the town?  Who is the Mute Lady, and why is
the Merchant so desperate to have her escorted away?  What is the
significance of the Carved Stones at the bottom of Pit 13?  Where is the
sound of digging coming from?  Will spring come in time?"

I've been GMing for the last ten years or so and playing (on and off) for
as long.  I've no experience of GMing a PBeM but I've been lurking in
three or four games for the last two years.
