Discussion, mostly technical, about running Phoenyx groups goes here. Hypotheticals and wishlists go in stakeholders.

Censorship

As I don't read my own posts that go through the lists, it has only just come to
my attention that all the postings going through the list are now being
censored, with any words seemingly disapproved of by the Pope being replaced
with an *.

I can understand some of the more severe words being censored, but is s-h-i-t
and a-s-s really that offensive to anyone these days?

If either Shakespeare or Chaucer were running lists here (pretty unlikely, I'll
admit) then they too would find themselves getting censored.

Bohavia has always been very open about the fact that it is a game run by adults
for adults, and the occasional obscenity is pretty necessary to define some of
the characters in what has always been a game filled with dark humor.

I thought that the Internet was supposed to be the last bastion of free speech?

Bye for now,

Nick
