Subject: PbEM: Darklands

This will be a horror/fantasy PbEM game set in a unique rping world based
in the Legend of Yore system. Potential players can check out the web page
at:

http://zonorus.marlboro.edu/~btaylor/darklands/

This horror game is set in the contemporary America with the premise that
supernatural forces and beings lurk just out of sight in the everyday
world. Character concepts are based on thorough research of world-wide
folklore. This is a game for mature players, featuring emotionally mature
situations and concepts. Character development and interaction are the
center of the game. Players interested in a lot of combat should not
apply. It is *NOT* a game centered around sex or pornography, but due to
my particular handling of folklore material, players under 18 won't be
allowed.

I am an avid PbEMer, playing for 2 years online and 10 years of IRL
roleplaying experience. I have not before GMed a PbEM on my own, but have
co-GMed the previous incarnation of this particular game.

Three established characters are up for bid by new players, and those are
all detailed on the website. The characters are: Eric Ashoona, Elizabeth
Jimenez and Greg Law all need players. Interested parties who send
*exceptionally* good applications may be able to play Nathan Silverstream,
Xavier Rhyes or Shane Mueller.

Applicants should send their letters of interest to: _Erzulie@excite.com.

Thanks for looking over my approval request!
