Hi Karen, Back in August/September I tried to FTP some files to Phoenyx. I'm trying to move my SylvrStorm site from Geocities to Phoenyx. It seems I'm able to upload files with no problem, but I can't move them to my 'storm' directory. On my first attempt, I tried three files (index.html, copyrigt.html, and sylvrban.jpg). They FTP'd fine, but did not appear in the storm directory when I tried the Move button, so I sent you a note. You replied, and it sounded like you had fixed something that was wrong. I don't know if you moved the files for me, or if somehow they got moved automagically, but they showed up in storm. So I tried again with another file (charactr.html). Again the FTP worked, but I could not move it to storm, so I asked again, wondering if there was still work to do, or if I was doing anything wrong. You said it works, just not spectacularly. I wasn't sure what that meant, and that file never did show up in the storm directory. I haven't had time to deal with it for a couple months, but finally got around to playing with it again today. I tried resending charactr.html, and it said I didn't have permission to overwrite a file, so presumably it's still there from my previous attempt. (I can't read the incoming directory, so it's hard to know what's going on for sure.) I successfully uploaded two more files (guidelin.html and irallah.html). However, this time when I tried to do the move, it didn't even give me a chance to specify the file name. It doesn't give me an error or anything, it just seems to do nothing. I still have 37 files to upload, plus the three that are presumably sitting in the incoming directory. So my question is, how do I move files from the incoming directory to the storm directory? Thanks, Kevin. -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Listowner tools are found at http://www.phoenyx.net/listowners
